The new permanent exhibit, “Harry S. Truman: An Ordinary Man, His Extraordinary Journey” expands appreciation of this Midwestern farm boy who never went to college, his remarkable rise and enduring character. Through the biography and achievements of Harry Truman, future generations will come to understand both the possibilities and the responsibilities of American citizenship.
Choose from two opportunities to see The Truman Library and enjoy KC’s Best BBQ lunch. (Vegan and gluten free options are available.)
Tour includes admission to the Truman Library, meal and non-alcoholic drinks, snacks & water, highlight tour around downtown KC to see the sights.
Other Details:
All departures are from the hotel.
Plan to board the bus 15 minutes prior to the departure time listed. We will meet just outside the main door to the right, at 12th and Central.
Please dress for the weather.
Water and snacks will be provided. (+gluten free snacks as well)
Lunch is included. Please indicate if you need Gluten Free or Vegan options.
