Kansas City Plaza & Beyond, Fountian and Art Walking Tour!

From the center of the Kansas City Plaza we will extend outwards to explore the Nelson Atkins Museum lawn, Kemper Contemporary and Kauffman Memorial Garden discovering art and history as we walk and chat.

Kansas City, aka the City of Fountains, is brimming with history, good and bad. Join us on a fascinating tour as we explore the plaza and beyond to delve into the stories of JC Nicholas, neighborhood red-lining, and the incredible transformation of this high-end shopping district from its humble pig farm and factory origins in the 1920s.

The walk is moderately paced, about 2-2.5 hours in total walking,  with stops along the way with two hilly areas.

Gather your friends, tours require a minimum of 3 people. Several dates now available to book. Private tours for 4 or more always available.

Private tours can be extended to include lunch at Cafe Sebastian inside the Kemper Contemporary Art Museum.
